Rebecca Skane is a New England native growing up on the Massachusetts North Shore. In 1993 she moved to Appleton, Wisconsin where she pursued and obtained her Bachelor of the Arts degree from Lawrence University. Ms. Skane then moved to Houston, Texas and began a career in commercial and industrial real estate. She now lives back on the east coast among family where she is practicing residential real estate. In the late 90’s and the early years of 2000, Ms. Skane worked for GSL Industrial and River Oaks Financial Group in Houston, Texas under the direction of Mr. Welcome W. Wilson, Sr., one of Houston’s most prominent real estate leaders. There she helped build the portfolio of industrial and commercial properties and maintained the properties as senior property manager and the direct contact for all clients. As the company’s portfolio grew to 42 properties, Rebecca oversaw all property management, the due diligence of property acquisitions, accounting, client interaction, and marketing and maintained a remarkable 100% occupancy rate. In 2002 Ms. Skane accepted the position as Director of Operations for eCitySuites in Houston, Texas. As Director of this commercial real estate executive suite corporation, Rebecca oversaw all leasing, lease negotiations, lease analysis, marketing, technical support and office support. Ms. Skane entered the position as the company held a 24% occupancy rate. After only 7 months with eCitySuites, Rebecca successfully raised the occupancy rate to an astonishing 97% and negotiated deals with high profile companies such as Dell and CareerBuilders.Com. In September of 2004 Ms. Skane moved back to the East Coast and now resides in New Hampshire with her husband and son. She obtained her New Hampshire residential real estate license after attending Barry School of Real Estate in NH. She also attended Keller Williams University for real estate. Her license is hung at the Portsmouth Keller Williams branch. She is a member of the Strafford County Board of Realtors®. |
